Village grows by 135 acres
The Village of Dundee is growing by another 135 acres. Dundee Village Council approved a land transfer agreement with the Township of Dundee to take over jurisdiction of about 30 acres owned by Dwight Durocher and about 105 acres owned by Louise Sisty. The Sisty land is in the process of being sold to Harold Salenbien.
The property is located north of the Dundee Ridge subdivision, along Covell Road, and could be accessible from Stowell Road.
The land is to be developed into a residential subdivision by Andrew Milia and some other people also affiliated with Franklin Properties, which is developing the 700-home subdivision north of the high school.
Council approved the land transfer agreement on December 7; the township had approved it on November 4.
